Linda writes romance fiction from YA to adult, contemporary to fantasy. Most Kage stories lean more toward the lighter, sillier side with a couple of meaningful moments thrown in. Focuses more on entertainment value and emotional impact. She likes the drama and crazy, over-the-top plots that make you cry, then laugh, get mad then sigh happily. Most stories are explicit but a few are sex-free. No dark or taboo topics, but many are not safe stories either.

Published since 2010. Went through a 2-year writing correspondence class in children's literature from The Institute of Children's Literature. Got an Associates of Arts degree from Allen County Community College in Iola, Kansas. Then graduated with a Bachelors in Arts, English with an emphasis in creative fiction writing from Pittsburg State Univerity.

She lives with her husband, Kurt, two daughters, Lydia and Sadie, cat Holly, and nine cuckoo clocks in southeast Kansas, USA. Farmgirl. Parents were dairy farmers. Was the youngest of eight. Big family. Day job as a cataloging library assistant.

Harry Potter House Gryffindor, Patronus White Stallion, character match Hagrid. Supernatural Team Dean. Game of Thrones Team Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister. The Walking Dead Team Daryl. Outlander Team Jamie Fraser. Teen Wolf Team Stiles. Avenger Team Thor...or Hulk (can't decide). Justice League Team Flash. Arrow Team Stephen Amell. Stranger Things obsessed. Heard Laurel, not Yanny.

Started out reading with the Baby-Sitters Club. Then moved to Sandra Brown, Linda Howard, Julie Garwood, and LaVyrle Spencer in high school. Now all over the place with her romance reading tastes.

BOOKS
I can't even narrow that down to one favorite author! Favorite types of books: Romance, of course!
I started out loving authors like Sandra Brown (she popped my romance book cherry!), Linda Howard, Nora Roberts, Julie Garwood, LaVyrle Spencer.
After that, I went through a romantic suspense phase and fell for Suzanne Brockmann, Karen Robards, Roxanne St. Claire, and Gennita Low.
Then, along came my passion for historical romance, and hello Julia Quinn, Lisa Kleypas, and Elizabeth Hoyt.
My paranormal loves include Cassandra Gannon, Gena Showalter, and Eve Langlais!
Young adult romance snagged me with authors like Simone Elkeles, Katie McGarry, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Chelsea Fine, Huntley Fitzpatrick, and Jay McLean.
Tammara Webber, Kristen Callihan, and Elle Kennedy got me hooked on new adult romance!
I can't forget my favorite feel-good contemporary authors like Mia Sheridan, Brittainy C. Cherry, Emma Chase, Aly Martinez, and Christina Lee.
And, of course, I love anything by Ada Frost.
I also like the books: Harry Potter series, To Kill a Mockingbird, His Kiss by Melanie Marks, Losing It by Cora Carmack, Tangled, Real, One-Week Girlfriend, Ten Tiny Breaths, The Sweet Gum Tree, On Dublin Street, #Nerd, and The Hooker and the Hermit.
